This is the most important
lesson that I have learned in this Quarantine period. I have realized how
privileged I am to have all these resources. There are a whole lot of things
that we have been taking for granted, like right now we are at home we get food
three times a day and obviously we know a lot more than 3 times a day because
we go on searching for something to eat in the fridge at least 10 times or even
more. we should be thankful for everything we have and at the same time help
the people who are not that privileged. See around you, offer someone food, help
someone in any way you can because these are very tough times or maybe the
toughest of times this generation will ever see. We always see news, scroll
through social media and hear the sufferings of people out there, we do think
about it for sometime then we go on with our lives but the people out there
they keep on suffering. So this is the time that we don't forget that people
are suffering and help them in any way we can. Be grateful for what you have.
so during this quarantine I have stopped complaining about the things I used to
complain, realized the value of things around me.I am grateful for everything I
have and you should be too and use your privilege for helping others.
Mental health is as important as
Physical health. Like we know eating an Apple is good for health and eating
junk food is bad for health the same way we should know what is good and bad for
our mental health. whatever we do in our everyday lives it affects our mind in
some way. We should know which activities make us happy and do them more often.
We should keep toxic people away and our loved ones close. Be around people who
push us to be a better version of ourselves and kick out people who only spread
negativity in our lives .If things get tough we should be patient , take things
one at a time and reach out for help.
Social
media can be very good but it can also be very bad at sometimes it depends on
how you use it. There are a lot of people out there on these platforms who are
spreading positive Vibes but at the same time you will find a lot of hatred too
.You can go in any comment section and find people fighting like mad dogs and
mostly those people have no logic in whatever they say, they are just attention
seekers. we should know and keep in mind that social media is a place where
people only show their ideal selves and
not their actual selves. social media can turn out to be a very bad
place for you if you start comparing yourself to others, there's no point in
watching someone's profile and thinking wow he is so productive and good at
everything and here I am sitting binge watching tv series because sometimes
it's ok to just sit back and relax and do absolutely nothing for sometime, refresh your mind, don't do anything
just because the world is doing it ,if someone has learned 10 recipes then
don't go on and start learning 10 recipes, do what you really like and not what others are pressurizing you to do. once
you stop comparing yourself to others and start being a better person then you
were yesterday, social media can no longer affect you and you can use social
media in the best way possible.
4.Family is everything
Wherever you go in life you will always find that people will love you or like you according to your qualities as a person but family is the only place where you will be loved irrespective of your flaws and shortcomings. While growing up we sometimes start giving more importance to our friends and argue with our parents when they say ye dosti kuchh Kam Nahin Aaegi , the point is we do make some friends who become our family but the truth is they won't be able to be there for you at all times even if they want to because they have a family too, it's not possible for them to be there for you every time but family will always be there for you in times of failures and losses, you will always have a shoulder to lean on and cry your heart out and then again stand up and be ready to face the challenges of life. There are people who don't have families I can't even imagine how hard it is for them while growing up they have no one to back them up in times of failure. So try to spend as much as time you can with your family and you will always have strength to face any number of challenges in your life.
Kindness never goes out of
Style and kindness is what we need the most in these tough times. even small
acts of kindness can have a big impact, give a toy to your house helps kid,
call and tell someone if you like their work ,listen to someone's
problems and offer them whatever you can. Your every small interaction
with someone can be a opportunity to have a positive impact on both of your
life ,it's not about impressing everyone you meet but leaving a good impression
on everyone you meet isn't a bad idea either. All the small acts of kindness is
what makes us human ,it sparks a light inside us without us knowing, it helps
us grow ,mature, be a better person everyday and most importantly stay human. Stop
judging people around you and try to understand their perspective, spread love
and you will see the universe will give it back to you in unimaginable ways.
